NAIDOC WEEK 'WALKING ON COUNTRY CHOCOLATE' BARS
"Ngaama Dhaagundha Yindang Yanhagi" ~ Always Walk Softly on Mother Earth
For 75,000 years, this is how my Ancestors walked. For 50 years, NAIDOC Week has been the moment Australia finally started paying attention to that walk. This bar is my answer to both.
Every Walking On Country bar is embossed with footprints and sand-like patterns. My Ancestors' deep connection to Country, pressed into chocolate. These footprints are not decoration. They are evidence.
Deadly Then. Deadly Now. Deadly Always.
Three Botanicals. Three Languages. One Bar.
You choose the flavour of your bars:-
- Girri Girri (Lemon Myrtle) with White Chocolate
- Munthari (Muntrie Berry) with Milk Chocolate
- Gulalung (Finger Lime) with Dark Chocolate
When a botanical is named in an Indigenous language on a chocolate bar sold across Australia, that language travels. It enters kitchens, offices, gift bags, conversations. That is not decoration. That is reclamation.

Processing & Dispatch Time
Express Post Shipping refers to the length of time Australia Post takes to deliver the parcel. It does NOT refer to when the order will be dispatched by Chocolate On Purpose, who will ship the order within 5-business days from the date the order is received depending on stock availability. Our Chocolate Factory operates on Monday - Friday during standard business hours, except on national holidays at which time we will be closed. In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum. We ship Monday to Wednesday to ensure your chocolate order spends as little time in transit as possible.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on weight, dimensions and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase. This price will be the final price for shipping cost to the customer. Australia Post Express Post is used, in order to ensure the product reaches the purchaser in the quickest time frame possible. During these COVID-19 times Australia Post have advised that Express Post is the fastest delivery option.
Australia Post Express Post Guaranteed Delivery is for postcodes in the same Express Post Network (currently due to COVID-19 restrictions Australia Post have suspended this). As Chocolate On Purpose is in regional NSW it is unlikely we are in the same Express Post Network as you, therefore add a business day to the delivery time frames shown on the Australia Post website here: http//auspost.com.au/service-updates/domestic-delivery-updates
The Express Post network delivery guarantee only applies to delivery time frames by Australia Post NOT the time of dispatch by Chocolate On Purpose, who will dispatch within 5-business days and then the Australia Post Express Post delivery time frame applies.
A Packaging & Handling fee will be charged at Checkout, which covers use of bubble-wrap to protect, and travel-ice to maintain integrity of your chocolate, so it arrives to you in the ultimate state of yumminess!
Return Due To Change Of MindChocolate On Purpose® will not accept returns due to change of mind; misuse of the product by the Receiver; if the Receiver contributed to the problem or in the event of an occurrence completely outside of the business’ control. Should NSW Fair Trading Consumer Guarantee be applicable, the matter will be investigated and a solution be determined in line with NSW Fair Trading guidelines.
