If you’ve never met us, we're Australia's first 100% Indigenous-owned chocolate company, female led, and a certified Social Enterprise.
I'm Fiona Harrison, a Wiradjuri woman, and I make our chocolate in Moss Vale, on Gundungurra Country in the Southern Highlands, which is why the Bowral Tulip Festival feels close to home.

Tulips for the eyes. Chocolate for the rest of you.
Aboriginal-owned chocolate made with native botanicals
Native botanicals are Australian plants that Aboriginal people have known, eaten and used as medicine for tens of thousands of years. In our range you'll find Davidson plum, finger lime, lemon myrtle, mountain pepperberry, muntrie berry and many others, each one chosen because it carries a flavour that belongs to this continent and tastes like nothing in a standard chocolate bar.
You can see the full Aboriginal chocolate gifts range on our website.
Why buy from an Indigenous-owned stall at Tulip Time
Tulip Time reports that 72% of its market stalls are run by local businesses, makers and producers. That figure matters because money spent at a local stall stays in the local economy, which is why a festival like this does more for the Southern Highlands than the flowers alone.
When you buy from Chocolate On Purpose, that same logic goes one step further. Your money pays an Indigenous-owned business that employs Aboriginal women over 45 and reinvests profit back into the work. It's an economic exchange, and it's the reason the business exists.
A Southern Highlands day trip for the October long weekend
The Southern Highlands is about 90 minutes from Sydney, which makes Tulip Time an easy day trip or a short escape over the long weekend. Bring a picnic rug, walk the gardens, and add a bag of native botanical chocolate to the basket.

Take some home
So be sure to tip toe through the tulips and then come and find us at Stall FM7.
Take some of our delicious goodies home, for yourself or as a gift.
If you can't make it to Bowral, our full range is online.
The tulips are here for a season. The native botanical plants in our chocolate have been here far longer.
