Traditionally women hold and conserve knowledge of Australia’s native botanicals crucial to culture, identity and spirituality and have been sharing this knowledge through storytelling for over 60,000 years. Yet Indigenous female representation in the Australian Native & Botanical Supply Chain is currently less than 0.02%.
My Vision is to commence employment & mentorship strategies to support Indigenous women reclaim leadership in the native botanical space in ways that reflect our inherent rights and sovereignty. In particular women aged 45+ because we are the fastest growing demographic of homeless in Australia.

This would only be the beginning for Chocolate On Purpose in terms of creating social impact through employment, where I would provide paid employment within Chocolate On Purpose and also career development support to help employees transition to other paid employment.
